What's your opinion on noise movement as the anti-music dialectics?
For some people noise is the way to express themselves. To escape from the path that were meant to be. The anti – music was born not only from the experimental music. We could also consider Grindcore (the non over produce) as one of the pioneer of the anti music movement. Some people especially in Indonesia thinks that a noise gig is an art exhibition. They just sit around, talking about the noise gear and stuff. I’d be so delighted if I could see the audience just stand up and do some circle pit and mosh around while they enjoying the sound that comes from the artist. Remember guys MOSH!
What's wrong with music that some of the noise-acts is talking about the anti-noise movement?
I think people are just bored with today music, the ideology and lyrical content. But it doesn’t mean they don’t like music at all. i bet when they’re sad, they just go to their room. Lock their room. Pull up the blanket, and start to listen Lenny Williams. Haha!
Your favorite local noise & experimental acts?
So many good bands / projects these days. Shoah, Hotel Prodeo , Argot, To Die, Kalimayat, Mati Gabah Jasus, Individual Distortion
Your EP is entitled Feces Phobia, and there is one song called "Immature Anal Pleasure". Tell us about the origin of that EP & song name! hahaha.
Hahaha, ok here’s the story. This dude is a friend of mine, and I'm telling you he’s so into Scat porn, bondage, vomit sex and all that shit. And everytime I came to his house, he's always like “Yo dude, you wanna see some German chicks eating spaghetti loaded with shit sauce?” . And why would I wanna see some chicks eating shit with spaghetti? And those words just popped out on my mind “Feces Phobia”
And the "Immature Anal Pleasure" words came out because I went to this internet cafe one day. And I found out this video about a boy. He kept talking about how he got sexually abused by his teacher. And the teacher’s name was Bapak Dodo. Until now, I'm always wondering who is pak Dodo anyway. You should see the face of that boy, he talked calm and chill like he's been clockin since he was 3 years old.. Nothing’s happened. No wonder that Dodo dude wanted to put his “Johnson’’ right into his.. You know.
Any shout outs to great local illustrators?
I would like to give a shout out to Ken Terror, Tremor, Mufti Amenk, Edi Kesa. God there’s so many talented illustrators these days. So hard to remember them one by one. Bless ya all!
What part of touring that you guys loved besides the food?
I think it’s the culture of the city. Love Jogja so much.. good vibes, good dudes.. Semarang as well. Even though it was hot right there.
So what's going on with AxDxS lately? Any touring, recordings, or projects?
New split is comin out soon, a split with Gorgonized Dorks (grind/noise band from L.A) under my own label (Spasm Rec.) and split with Jah Excretion from Japan (Artape Rec). Don’t have any tour plan right now, we’ve been busy working and all that stuff to keep that “green paper” coming. We recorded some new material about two months ago, just pure Grind and Noise stuff. Just wait and see, it’d be dynamite!

What equipment or effects that you guys favorited and always use?
Just some regular stuffs. Guitar, bass, drum and some noise generator. Pretty enough equipment to grind your head off haha. Thanks a lot Bastard Of Young! Grind is protest!!
