Do you hope your music helps people through bad life experiences?
I hope it touches people
What does it mean to be brave and focused with music?
It means going with your gut feeling and and knowing what you want
How do you cope with the environment living abroad and did it influence the music you’re making?
I've been living abroad and moving a lot since I was a kid so it's nothing new to me. It hasn't really influenced my music making that much. I make music the same way no matter where I am
What makes music timeless?
If only I knew. It's an invincible magic that you can't see, control or purposely recreate. It just happens
Do you use anger or sadness to write music?
I use both
Do you write songs differently today than you did when you first started writing songs?
Yes. I'm way too critical of myself now which stops me from being spontaneous
How’s your band become the soundtrack 500 days of summer?
A friend of our manager played sweet disposition to the director and he loved it. The rest is Temper Trap history.
