I've heard about your video project. Tell me a bit about that Narcissism project..

It shall remain a secret for now, but one thing I can tell you is how much love I have for the project. It's going to be great mainly because of all the kids participating. They're all amazing and absolutely inspiring.

What's been keeping you busy lately: Doing more photoshoots or other video projects?

I'm trying to build my new portfolio. Hopefully in the near future I will do more photoshoots. I mostly take pictures of my friends. I'm always surrounded by beautiful people, it really is a blessing. After finishing the "you know whut" project -which I'm very excited to continue- there will be more exciting projects to come. It's time for a comeback.

How about your hometown, don't you miss your home? If i were you, i will miss the foods.

Ahh lets not even go there! As much as I love New York, nothing can replace home. About the food, All of them really. Especially Satay Padang, umm.. Everything Padang! Someone should open an authentic Indonesian restaurant in Brooklyn, they'll make bank.

You're a film-buff. What's your all-time favorite?

All time favorite? That's hard. I have a few all time favorites: 2001 Space Odyssey, Blade Runner and Akira. Ooh I love The Thing too!

From your experience as a part-time singer, What's the worst thing that can happen when you're doing a show? What's the worst thing that has happened?

I used to sing solos for my choir, one performance when i was little, i was so nervous that i choked and i forgot the lyrics. I continued singing and tried my best to stay cool even thought i was about to cry hahaha! When we're done, i ran and cried to my mom (she's one of my vocal teachers). It was embarrassing.

Are you superstitious?

Interesting question. Back home i used to be scared by the littlest things. Near my house in jakarta, there's this little street i have to pass to get home and it's surrounded by tall walls and behind those walls are huge bamboo trees, so huge they overlap the walls to the street. It's really scary especially at night. But here in New York, i don't get scared at all. Here if I watch a scary movie i can sleep like a baby afterwards not like back home where i get spooked out by myself.
